![]() If you can wipe the SSD, I would use disk utility to re-erase and repartition the drive, and make sure there are no files left over. Apparently they can be created in different directories and the installer will get confused? A directory can't have two files with the same name, so I don't know what's going on. I can't for the life of me understand why you would have two, which is what that error suggests to me. If you google for msinstallconfig.xml you'll see it's a critical macOS installer file. It's fine to not convert to apfs but that won't make Multibeast Sierra Edition a good option for you for fixing all the little issues Hackintoshes have to fix. ![]() ![]() Multibeast High Sierra Edition is in testing and hopefully will be out soon. It can't read apfs and it hasn't been tested against High Sierra so any of the hundreds of fixes it makes may be incompatible.
